Jon Ander obtained his Licenciatura in English Philology from the University of Deusto (Bilbao) in 2006. He also holds an MA in Spanish Linguistics from Purdue University (Indiana) and a Máster Oficial on Bilingual Education (with an emphasis on English as an L2) from Pablo de Olavide University (Seville). He has been an instructor of Spanish in Purdue University and in the University of Florida.

Currently, Jon Ander is working on his doctoral dissertation on content-based instruction in the BAC, under the supervision of Dr. David Lasagabaster and supported by a pre-doctoral scholarship from the Basque Government.
