Jian Gong is a PhD student supervised by Prof. Martin Cooke and Dr. MªLuisa García Lecumberri at the University of the Basque Country, Spain. He obtained his first Master degree from Xi’an Technological University, China. He then obtained his second MSc Advanced Software Engineering from the University of Sheffield, UK. He started his PhD study at University of Sheffield, then followed his supervisor Prof. Martin Cooke to University of the Basque Country. He is now working on his PhD project of computational modeling of second language speech perception.
