María José holds a teaching degree from the University of Seville and a B.A. in English Philology from the University of Huelva. She completed a dual M.A. program in both English and Spanish as a Foreign Language at Michigan State University (USA). She is currently a Ph. D. student in the Language Acquisition in Multilingual Settings program under Dr. Garcia Mayo’s supervision at the University of the Basque Country.
