María Luquin is a PhD student supervised by Professor Dr. María Pilar García Mayo at the University of the Basque Country. She obtained her BA with honors in English Studies from the University of the Basque Country (2015). She also holds two master's degrees: MA in Translation, Dubbing and Captioning from the European University of Madrid (2016) and MA in Secondary Education Teaching from the Public University of Navarre (UPNA) (2017). Currently, María is working as an EFL teacher at the National University of Distance Education (UNED) in Vitoria-Gasteiz. Her current PhD thesis revolves around the learning opportunities of collaborative L2 writing and feedback with primary school children, and has received a predoctoral research grant (FPI) from the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities.
