Yuliya Gusliyenko is PhD student supervised by María Luisa García Lecumberri and Martin Cooke at the University of the Basque Country (Spain). She obtained her B.A. in English and Korean Philology at the Kyiv's National Linguistic University (Ukraine), then a M.A. in Korean Philology at the Inha University (South Korea) in 2009 and a M.A. in Applied Linguistics and Language Acquisition in Multilingual Contexts (LAALCM) at the University of Barcelona (Spain) in 2011. Now she is working on her PhD project which focuses on pausing phenomena in relation to working memory, individual speaking style and meta-cognition.
